SharePoint Communication Sites and O365 Delve – July 20, 2017 2-4pm

Communication Sites

This month we have two topics, SharePoint’s new Communications Sites and Office 365’s Delve.

Communication sites allow the user to share: news, reports, status, and other information in a visually compelling format using one of several different layouts. Communication sites are responsive and can be viewed from anywhere on any device. You would typically use Communication sites to broadcast information out to a broad audience, so typically only a small set of members contribute content that is consumed by a much larger audience. Team sites are a better choice when most members can contribute content and the information is limited to only the members of the site.

Delve is a landing page in Office 365 that uses Office Graph to locate content that may otherwise be difficult to find. I like to say, rather than you looking for documents that you need, the most likely documents you’d be looking for have come to find you.

Come see how these productivity tools can enrich your life today.
