Future of SharePoint Discussion – May 18, 2017 2-4pm

Topic: Future of SharePoint Discussion

SharePoint Future

Just one year after Microsoft’s May 4, 2016 SharePoint Virtual Summit, Microsoft’s Corporate VP, Jeff Teper, declared, “The future of SharePoint is now!” This all happened last week during his keynote address at the May 6th Twin Cities SharePoint Saturday. Teper went on to welcome everyone to “The second year of SharePoint’s resurgence.” To that end, Microsoft is holding another global SharePoint Virtual Summit next week, on Tuesday, May 16, 2017; you can register to attend the virtual event for free:

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, MSOUG will gather at our usual time and place to discuss the impact that the announcements made at the 2017 SharePoint Virtual Summit will have on our SharePoint environments (On-premises and Online). Please join us!

Facilitator: Todd Bleeker from RSM

Come and join us in person, it will facilitate the discussion and we want to get to know you. It’s always good to network with folks in our community that are trying to leverage the same tools that we are. Whether you attend in-room or online, please register ahead of time using our Eventbrite site:

The IA MSOUG will gather on the third Thursday of the month from 2-4pm in the Conference Room at the Valley Community Center in West Des Moines:
4444 Fuller Road, West Des Moines, IA

Since this month’s user group is a large group discussion, I will be bringing popcorn for the entire group!

Attend Virtually

If you cannot join us in person, consider clicking in virtually. We continue to provide virtual attendance to the meeting via Skype for Business (URL is case sensitive):
